All gold purchased is bought as scrap and therefore we have a fixed price and that is firstly determined by the Gold Fix  and secondly by the fineness of the item.

the fineness being the gold content of the item and if it was bought in the UK then it will be hallmarked 9k, 10k, 14k, 18k, 22k or 24k gold.
